What's a synonym for "animal"?  Pluralize it.  Generalize it.  Make it common for all animals.  Then call that "life".  Then ask yourself, what is the basis for that "life".  Hmm...  let's go look at the periodic table.  Ah carbon.  I knew that.

Nothing new there.  We've known for a long time that life on Earth is based on carbon.  Ooops.  It isn't just carbon.  It is specifically the Carbon-6 atom.  Go look at how many protons, neutrons, and electrons there are in that atom.  Go ahead.  Say aloud the number of each of these particles intrinsic to all life.  In the immortal words of Pogo: "we have met the enemy and he is us."  Realizing yen and yang; we grow, learn and strive to be all we can be, not what we are.

Then, when this revelation sinks in, ask yourself, how in creation could they possibly have known that, those many thousands of years ago? You see, the revelation above isn't the astounding part. The astounding part is that they knew it. Pursuing Ecclesiastes 7:25 they passed along a message from the landlord in Proverbs 3:13.

Majestic Feint: The Secret - Back Story

I have been working on The Elegance of Reason for almost a decade and now see light at the end of the tunnel.  However, it wasn't always so.   Frustrated at being turned away by so many professionals about the concepts in that manuscript, I decided to create a fictional realm within which many of the key concepts being developed in The Elegance of Reason, could play out with fictional characters.

That story is Majestic Feint: The Secret.  So, if you are interested in a presentation of those concepts, in what may be something of a tedious setting for some, then this book to a large degree does that.  The story elements created, wrap the premise of the book in the context of The Elegance of Reason to present an action oriented mystery with some interesting revelations and plot twists that rivet the engaged reader.

The author has been repeatedly amused at having more than several of the early reviewers of the manuscript coming back asking "How much of this is true?"  The author just smiled answering "More than you might think."
